Human Trafficking is a serious crime that often goes unnoticed, but communities in Grey and Bruce Counties are taking action. The CSWBP Crime Prevention Action Table in partnership with the Joy Smith Foundation and Violence Prevention Grey Bruce are raising awareness about the dangers of human trafficking and providing resources to help prevent this crime.

The CSWBP Crime Prevention Action Table, Community Drug and Alcohol Strategy and various partners invite community members to informative town halls featuring policing, health and social experts who will provide critical insights into drug trafficking, substance use, addictions and harm reduction strategies in our communities.

Due to high water levels and large debris impacting the construction platform, the Durham Street Bridge in downtown Walkerton is closed to through traffic until further notice. Motorists are advised to use the posted Alternative Truck Routes for the duration of the Durham Street Bridge Closure.
