Please take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the County of Bruce passed a county-wide development charges Amending By-law No. 2024-069.

On Thursday, December 5, 2024, the Inaugural Council Meeting of the 2024-2025 Bruce County Council term was held in the Council Chambers at the Walkerton Administration Centre. Bruce County’s Councillors, the locally-elected Mayors of the eight lower-tier municipalities in the County, elected a Warden and Deputy Warden for the 2024-2025 term in this inaugural meeting.

Brant Tract trail users are advised that the Sleddog Sports Association of Southwestern Ontario (SSASO) is holding a timed racing event at Bruce County’s Brant Tract on Saturday, December 7, 2024. The event will run from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The Bruce County Transportation & Environmental Services Department is pleased to announce that starting on Monday, December 2, 2024, residents and businesses can submit and manage over-dimensional load moving permits online using Permit Central, through Transnomis. An over-dimensional load permit is required when vehicles and loads traveling on Bruce County roads exceed the dimensions and/or weight limits as outlined in the Highway Traffic Act.
