In March, staff and elected officials from Bruce County attended the annual MIPIM event in Cannes, France. MIPIM is one of the world’s real estate and property development conferences. The event saw more than 26,000 attendees and over 2,400 companies — primarily investors and developers — come together with the goal of finding new investment opportunities. 

Grey Bruce Public Health identifies the home to be in Outbreak status. All precautions and safety measures are in place to support all residents and staff, as part of Bruce County’s Response Plan.

Walkerton and area businesses are invited to attend an Information Session for Businesses on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the Walkerton Community Centre (290 Durham St., Walkerton, ON) to provide input and discuss concerns about the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment for the Replacement of the Durham Street Bridge.

On Saturday, April 22, Bruce County Public Library will host a panel consisting of ‘A Place to Belong’ editors Joan Beecroft, Dana Benson, Donna Jansen, and several new to Grey-Bruce residents.  

Bruce County supports the inclusion of children from low-income families in the participation of extracurricular activities, school nutrition programs, and cultural and skill building activities through the Child Activity Assistance Program (CAAP).

Bruce County Committees will meet on Thursday, April 20, 2023 beginning at 9:30 a.m.

On Tuesday, April 25, Bruce County Public Library will celebrate a significant milestone with the Tobermory Friends of the Library. The group, consisting of community volunteers, will turn 25, and everyone is invited to help celebrate their Silver Anniversary.

On April 19, the BCM&CC celebrates the 10th Anniversary of National Canadian Film Day with screenings in the Museum’s Bruce Power Theatre of two award-winning films that highlight the power, diversity, and craft of Canadian film.
