Spring is here and soon it will be summer! Along with the nice weather comes the threat of severe thunderstorms. Thunderstorms are often accompanied by high winds, hail, lightning, and heavy rain. In rare cases, thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.

Bruce County Public Library joins over 200 Libraries across Canada in going fine free. Starting June 1, they will be eliminating overdue fines for Library materials. This change aims to enhance equal access to the library’s extensive resources and services.

Please take notice that bridge rehabilitation repairs will be taking place from Spring 2024 to Fall 2024 at the Durham Street Bridge in Walkerton, Ontario. Motorists can expect lane closures on the bridge, with traffic control measures in place, starting the week of May 27, 2024, and ending in December 2024.
