On March 20, 2025, local business owners, entrepreneurs, leading women and changemakers gathered at Ainsdale Golf Course in Huron-Kinloss to celebrate International Women's Day. Bruce County’s Business to Bruce program hosted this year’s event—Accelerate Action: Building Businesses and Breaking Barriers—aimed to inspire, empower and support women in business, in partnership with Women's House Serving Bruce and Grey.

Bruce County proudly recognized two outstanding community members, Muriel Shular and Owen Riegling, as recipients of the King Charles III Coronation Medal at a special ceremony held at Bruce County Council Chambers today.

Human Trafficking is a serious crime that often goes unnoticed, but communities in Grey and Bruce Counties are taking action. The CSWBP Crime Prevention Action Table, Community Drug and Alcohol Strategy and various partners invite community members to informative town halls featuring policing, health and social experts who will provide critical insights into drug trafficking, substance use, addictions and harm reduction strategies in our communities.

Due to high water levels and large debris impacting the construction platform, the Durham Street Bridge in downtown Walkerton is closed to through traffic until further notice. Motorists are advised to use the posted Alternative Truck Routes for the duration of the Durham Street Bridge Closure.
