Please take notice that Bruce County is holding a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the Kincardine Public Works Yard located at 140 Valentine Ave., Kincardine, ON. The event will run from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Please take notice that bridge rehabilitation repairs will be taking place this spring/summer at Sweiger Bridge on Bruce Road 10 North of Chesley, Ontario. Motorists can expect lane closures on the bridge, with traffic control measures in place starting May 6, 2024, and ending in July 2024.

Bruce County Emergency Management, along with Community Emergency Management Coordinators from many Bruce County municipalities, have collaborated with the Canadian Armed Forces Canadian 31 Brigade Group on their upcoming Exercise Trillium Venture, occurring in Bruce and Huron Counties the weekend of May 3 to May 5.

Please take notice that the Bruce County line painting contractor will be conducting line painting operations on County Roads for the 2024 season during the months of May and June. This notice is to inform drivers to obey all signage and warning signs to keep their vehicles clean and clear of all roadway paint. Bruce County assumes no responsibility for paint damage claims from motorists who cross wet paint lines.
